Interesting things that are happening in our household are talks about how we should probably switch from being an Apple-mostly household to being more open. And interestingly, I’m not the one that has the strongest opinions here. My wife has even started thinking about the Nothing Phone (probably the not-yet-unveiled 3/3a) as a successor to her iPhone 11 Pro. Interesting times ahead, for sure.

I’m getting older, and I don’t care as much about open source and such. But at the same time, the older I get, the more concerned I become about being screwed over by another proprietary software changing its rules or something similar, forcing me to find an alternative to whatever I was using. It’s so annoying!
